Easter Bunny Cards...

I love bunnies. They are all over my house:) I made these cards with bunny rabbit head shots. I took my vintage image and altered it with my Adobe Photoshop.

Easter...

Today I finished up my Easter box. I love vintage images and I really love them with a glass glitter border :) I got the images used here from The Graphics Fairy. In the bottom of the box I adhered a baby chick image. I altered the bunny image on the side with roses.

Our Favorite Valentine's Cookie Recipe...

Our family has been making these cookies for more than 20 years. My husbands grandma passed down this recipe to her grandchildren. She made these every year for Valentine's Day. It's a family tradition to make these and we always think of her!

First MIX and BAKE the cookies~

3-1/4 cups flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. baking soda
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup softened Parkay stick margarine
1 egg
1/2 cup evaporated milk with 1 Tbs. vinegar (I use apple cider vinegar)

PREHEAT the oven to 425.

In a large MIXing bowl combine flour, baking soda, salt and nutmeg. In a seperate bowl BEAT together the oleo, sugar, egg, vanilla and milk mixture until fluffy. Combine flour mixture with sugar mixture. Beat until smooth.

You can chill overnight or not (I don't).

GREASE cookie sheets or use a baking stone (no greasing necessary).

ROLL out dough fairly thick, 1/4" on floured surface. (I don't like these cookies thin). The dough will be sticky so using extra flour on your hands and sprinkled onto the dough is okay.

CUT out your hearts or shapes and place 1" apart.

BAKE from 8-10 minutes.

COOL completely before frosting.

Now FROST and SPRINKLE your cookies~

This recipe will frost about 2 dozen cookies.

1/4 cup softened Parkay stick margarine.
2 Tbs. evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt
2 cups powdered sugar

MIX all ingredients together and add food coloring. If too thin add more powdered sugar, if too thick add more milk.

FROST and SPRINKLE!
