Hand painted sheep...

for baby Delilah's nursery. He turned out really cute. Cuter, I think, than the one I found on the internet to use as an example.

Another project for SSD

I made this using an artist canvas by Canvas Corp.  I painted it white then added a trim all around the edge of paper rosettes, also made using paper by Canvas Corp.  The photo corners are tattered angels, I glittered them because I love glitter!  And I cut SWEET from my Storybook Cricut program.

Project for SSD

Canvas pillow cover.  I printed a picture of Rhiannon as a baby onto fabric then covered it with iron on fabric laminate.  I hand stitched it to the center of the cover.  The roses are made from torn stripes of pink cotton fabric, rolled into roses.  Tiny vintage pearls are in the centers of each.  I curled the ribbon using a dowel rod, spray starch and tattered angels spray mist in dazzling diamonds.  I also sprayed tattered angels onto the cover using a stencil, but you can't see it because it's all covered up! I also tea stained the big bow and added more seam binding ribbon to the center of it along with a premade tag (Canvas Corp).  I stamped the tag with BABy Love in black and spritzed it with tattered angels.

Baby Banner

I had soo much fun making this banner for my daughters baby room.  First, I cut out the banner shapes.  I used a double layer of duck cloth.  Next I painted on my designs with acrylic paint.  Polka dots, stripes, plaid, and I also used a couple of different stencils I had.  After they dried, I sewed the back layer onto each and aged the edges with brown acrylic paint.  I cut letters out of brown cardstock using my cricut (storybook program).  I clued each letter onto the pennants with elmers fabric and craft glue.  I then attached each pennant to a thin length of brown ribbon and tacked it in place with needle and thread.  That's it!   It turned out so shabby and cute!

Scrapbook Layout Contest...

I recently entered a sketch contest at our local scrapbook store, and won first place (1st place!).  This is the first time for me to enter a scrapbook layout contest.  The store does a monthly sketch contest.  I have great competition for this months contest, MY MOTHER!   I'm working on my October layout now.  I'm not sure if you can link to the newsletter where my layout is posted for September on the Signed Sealed Delivered newsletter or not, but I have listed it here http://www.emailcontact.com/nl/nl-output.php?nl_id=123809&bus_id=3029&plain=0

Sweet Baby Doll

Isn't she beautiful!!  I love this little vintage Kewpie doll.  She's adorable with the pink and lace shabby elements.  She's made to print onto 8.5" x 11" cardstock. This also prints two cards per page.  Cards should be around 4" x 5 1/4" finished.

Sources-Roses "The Graphics Fairy", lace "Gunhild Storeide", chipboard and background are my creations.

Have a Beautiful Day,
