Sweet Handmade Package...

Today I mailed off this sweet packaging I handmade. I made the bottom of the box out of chipboard. Painted the outside with white acrylic paint to look shabby and adhered a piece of the paper, also used for the lid, to the bottom inside. The top, lid, I made out of kraft styled scrapbooking paper and scalloped the edges. I tied it up with a strip of ripped, frayed polka dot fabric, tag with a handmade ribbon rose and one of my decorated cupcake clothespins. Inside I enclosed half a dozen of my decorated clothespins for submission to a magazine I LOVE, Somerset Life!  We'll see what happens from here :)
