Bunny Cards...

I recently purchased a few printable papers from Iralamija's Etsy shop.
I printed them out and made these cards using her beautiful floral tags
and printable floral papers. The pink stripe paper is from Hobby Lobby.
I also used my hand dyed buttons and some of the resin bunnies I made
and painted. I found the yellow doilies at a local flea market, I was so
excited!

Amazing Mold Putty...

Last week I came across a pin on Pinterest about making your own molds with Amazing Mold Putty. I thought it was a neat idea so I set out to try it. First I bought my supplies at Hobby Lobby, including Amazing Casting Resin. I followed the directions on the packaging, made a few molds and poured in my resin.  After the resin hardened I took my pieces out of the molds. I painted some and dyed some with Rit liquid dye. After my painted pieces dried I sprayed them with either gloss or matte sealer to protect the painted finish. The process, in my opinion, is very simple and really a lot of fun! My favorite pieces are the bunnies, ice cream cones and the roses.

Rhiannon's Country Wedding...

My daughter, Rhiannon's wedding. She wanted a country wedding
outside with the reception inside a barn. She made alot of the
decorations or had them made by her friends and myself.  I made
the background display behind the wedding cake. Rhiannon made
the Mr and Mrs banner. She and her friend, Tawny, sewed all the
grooms men's bow ties!

Getting ready for the big moment with her bridesmaids and
maid of honor.

Rhiannon's daughter also getting ready for the big moment. She's
the flower girl and looks like a princess with her gorgeous hairstyle
and her princess crown.

Mingling with guest before the wedding. That's her dad all
handsome In his Father of the Bride white shirt, yellow bow tie
and gorgeous rose boutonnière that she also made from a wine
bottle cork.

I hand lettered the Our Wedding sign using a white Prang colored
pencil. It looked just like chalk. It was then sealed with a matte
sealer for protection. I also made the Cards Banner. There's two
kegs of beer hidden under all that ice in the water trough. We
stuck a couple of big sticks inside to hold the beer signs.

Above top right photo is the Candy Bar. Bottom photo is the
Inside of the barn. She and I cut different colored fabrics into
banners then she attached them to rope to hang from the ceiling.

Rhiannon wrapped all the wine bottles with twine to be used as
flower vases in the table center pieces. She also used wine bottle
corks stuck into glass candle stick holders as photo holders.
Mason jars tied with raffia held floating candles. She placed all
these on top of slices of wood and accented it with green moss.
So country cute!
