My daughter thinks this doll is creepy!  I think if you like old dolls, she's a cutie!
I made the pink background and got the gems from" ScrappinCop" to make the frame.  I got the roses from "The Graphics Fairy", the Kewpie is a mixture of all sorts of elements-legs from "Gaby Cajubrasil" , skirt from the web, lace from "Gunhild Storeide", banner from "Magic Moonlight".

Sweet Baby Doll

Isn't she beautiful!!  I love this little vintage Kewpie doll.  She's adorable with the pink and lace shabby elements.  She's made to print onto 8.5" x 11" cardstock. This also prints two cards per page.  Cards should be around 4" x 5 1/4" finished.

Sources-Roses "The Graphics Fairy", lace "Gunhild Storeide", chipboard and background are my creations.

Have a Beautiful Day,

Happy Birthday Party Piggy

Isn't he a cutie...  I love this pig.  I adorned him with a party hat and the ribbon frame with ice cream cones.  I also added the stripped pattern behind the frame.  Soo cute.
The party pig is from Cassi's Creations (Etsy), the background is Shabby Miss Jenn, the frame is The Graphics Fairy, and I made the ice cream and the party hat.

Baby Booties

While searching for felt projects online the other day, I came across this baby bootie project on the "Martha Stewart" show.  I thought these little booties (shoes) were so cute!  I immediately got to work on my own.  I didn't have any felt in pretty baby colors, so I made my booties from fleece.  I think they turned out adorable and so soft.  Find the link here  http://www.marthastewart.com/article/baby-booties?backto=true&backtourl=/photogallery/sewing-projects-for-kids#slide_2

The booties are made from yellow and pink fleece, pink seam binding ribbon, eyelets, tiny ribbon flowers with pearl centers, and hand sewn with embroidery thread.  I tried to use HeatnBond iron-on adhesive tape to attach some of the parts ( like they do on Martha) but it wouldn't adhere.  I did, however, use iron-on fusable webbing to strengthen the toe piece and the cuffs.

My daughter, Rhiannon, made these cute tiny felt animals.  She is just a beginner and did a fabulous job.  I'm not sure where she got her animal patterns, but when I find out I will edit this post to show where.  Next she's making felt alphabet baby blocks.  Maybe she will let me show them off too!!
